A lot of Jewish learning asks you to accept.
The Looking Glass invites you to inquire — together.
We believe the deepest questions about life, meaning, and truth deserve rigorous, open-minded exploration — and that Torah, examined honestly and without preconception, has more to say to the searching mind than most people expect.
Our Philosophy
Three commitments shape everything we do.
Reason-Based
Torah and intellectual rigor in conversation — not in conflict.
A Shared Journey
Rabbi Jacobs sits with you in the questions — curious, open, engaged.
Transformation
Not just what you know — but how you see yourself and the world.

Rabbi Adam Jacobs
Rabbi Jacobs brings deep expertise in Jewish mysticism, experiential education, and the contemplative dimensions of Torah tradition. A senior educator at Aish for 26 years, he created and ran programs, seminars, and workshops for thousands of people across the full spectrum of Jewish background and observance.
His writing has appeared in the Huffington Post, the Algemeiner Journal, and The Times of Israel. He has been featured in two documentary films — Kabbalah Me and A Rabbi Walks Into a Bar. Through his media platform Feed Your Head, he has interviewed many of today's leading thinkers in science and philosophy — an experience that has profoundly shaped his teaching and approach.
His work bridges rigorous intellectual inquiry and lived spiritual experience.
"Adam's intellectual curiosity and ability to engage brilliant minds in deep conversation makes him the Bill Moyers of this generation."
